Workflow scripts can trigger actions (change a field value, create an action, etc.) based on conditions on user inputs (if amount is greater than x). example 1:

A sales representative receives a request for quotation from a person already recorded in the database. He converts this e-mail into an action. Links to the person & the company are automatically created.

Once validated by the Sales Representative, the script, through the Sales Opportunity Management system, will create:

• A follow-up action in Task Management: answer quotation request on day +1

• A scheduled action on day + 3 as a last reminder for execution

• A predefined letter to confirm reception of the request that will be sent by e-mail or post

• An action to a financial controller to verify credit scoring of this company

• A notification to the sales manager to warn him

• Or any other ELink Advantage™ element specific to your business process

Business Process Workflow,
example 2:

Receipt by the company of a purchase invoice or insurance claim. The staff member registers the receipt by creating a new action and scans in the document under the document management system

The script can create a workflow to acknowledge receipt and then to take the document through all the steps and to all the relevant people for checking and approval before arriving at the cheque / payment requisition stage.

Every detail of the process is easily visible and every stage is reflected in the management reporting system. Every element is ‘hyperlinked’ to contact, company, project/ claim record, to a user or user group to-do list or diary as necessary, with automatic ‘Deadline’ control.
