ASP Service Level Agreement
The scope of our Service Level Agreement is to give our ASP customers a clear description of the services we are provided by our partner NextApplication and by the Data Centre at InterXion.
Services provided by InterXion
InterXion's Data Centre is located at the Wezembeekstraat 2 in 1930 Zaventem, Belgium. Their offices are located there too, which ensures very short intervention time when needed.
Equipment
The Data Centre is tooled up with the latest technology. All devices are doubled: UPS, diesel generators, climate control, and gas extinguishers (to prevent damage to the servers in case of fire).
Bandwidth
InterXion only uses best-quality bandwidth, taken directly from the backbone of Lambdanet with a direct connection to the BNIX. Its connection with Lambdanet has a direct connection to 500 other providers. Two long-distance fiber links (one to the Netherlands and another one to the United Kingdom) ensure an extremely fast and reliable access to the international Internet. InterXion's customers are connected to the Internet through an Ethernet port of 100 Mbit/s.
Firewall
Every customer of InterXion with a dedicated or co-leased server is secured by a shared firewall.
Network
Lambdanet is in charge of the network and connectivity of the servers in the Data Centre. Lambdanet guarantees an availability of 99.9%. The response time and solution time for the network are part of the services provided by Lambdanet.
InterXion guarantees 99.9% availability to its internal network between its server and the connection to Lambdanet.
Support availability
InterXion's team supports its customers 24/7. One can reach an InterXion worker either during office hours (9 am to 5 pm) or outside these hours.
Security
The security of the site is ensured by Securitas.
Services provided by NextApplication
Back-ups
NextApplication runs daily back-ups of the databases of our ASP customers. Those backups can be sent to our customers on request (£50 charge).
Secured access
NextApplication provides our ASP customers with a secured access to their data. The HTTPS norm will be used to prevent malicious access to the data of the customers.
Moreover, all hosted eLINK solutions include data encryption during transfer using the SSL standard. This guarantees your data cannot be intercepted by anyone.
Mirror site
The eLink hosting includes a mirror server site that can take over the service even if the entire DataCentre complex is taken down.
The mirror server is located at NextApplication premises.
Server and software specifications
One Dell xeon bi-processors server, 3GHz, dual core, 2GB of RAM, Windows 2003 Server. Redundant IP. Multi homing hard-disk RAID1. eLink database is Microsoft SQL 2000.
Bandwidth
The bandwidth is 4 MB at NextApplication premises and 2MB at InterXion data center.
Location of eLink DataBase
The Parent database is located at NextApplication premises. Whereas the child eLink database is located at InterXion datacenter. Online replication occurs via VPN every 30 minutes.
